Where to find better gear? (Spoilers maybe?)
Currently using a Titanium Masterwork Blade and an armorset from the Portal Knight's Sanctuary made from the Avenger set + Astral Heart.

Where exactly can I get better gear than these? Where can I get the best accessories? Capes?

I have already unlocked the whole Electro Crystal armorset from the Tomb.

I use most of the Retribution set as a level 30 Warrior:

- Helm of Retribution for the Critical Strike Damage (CSD) abilities

- Breastplate of Retribution for the restored health (hearts) after a CS so you do not need to take healing potion very often

- Greaves of Retribution again for CSD abilities

- Outlaw Gloves boost Melee damage by +90 and dropped from normal island treasure chest past islands 3-05 and during special events like Undead Graveyard, Tomb of C’Thiris, Mysterious Portal, Spider Cave, and Turtle Hut.

- Eternal Watcher Cape again for CSD abilities and drop from Worlds End – Hollow King. May have to go many rounds with him before it drops.

- Ring of Fire for its CSD abilities and is a drop from Epic (Larger than Normal) Chest on islands 2-04, 2-07, 2-08, and 2-10. Each Epic Chest only opens once per game and may not drop the ring but a weapon or cape. You can regenerate your current universe, all the open portals remain open so you do not have to start over again. The Epic Chest resets on all open islands except for the island you set as HOME. Regeneration does wipe out anything you have built or changed on islands except the one set as HOME. Vacant islands you buy and open from the island merchants will not be affected by a regeneration. So, if you have built something on a Vacant island it is safe from Universe Regeneration along with the island you set as HOME.

- Titanium Masterwork Cleaver for CSD abilities, can be crafted at your level lV Anvil

With this setup I have a 46% chance that each blow will land 40% critical strike damage and add the items below to increase damage further

- War Cry to increase damage you do for 10 sec. Crafted at Anvil III.

With this gear and some Electro Damage Protection Flasks I can defeat Hard Mode Boss Ancient Evil Electro Worm solo. You can use Poison Rain on Ancient Evil Electro Worm and it drops from the Worm Pit after island 1-10 and crafted at level III Alter.

As a warrior you should be looking for items that add +1 strikes. There is a ring that adds it as well as a couple other items I think. Basically you want to add as many additional strikes as you can and then focus on maximizing melee damage bonus. Crits and crit damage are what you fill in any additional gaps with after that if I remember right.

So once you get the added strikes you end up dealing MASSIVE damage because you get more hits in with every attack. If you add a ton of additional melee damage then every one of those strikes hits HARD. Crits end up being pretty devastating as a result but you can only boost so many things at once and you want consistent damage with melee damage boost over a gamble on crits that are only based on a little melee damage bonus. You end up with more reliable damage over time as you fight this way. I can look up the items needed for this type of build when I get time and I will post it.

The items from the alter at the portal knight sanctuary I believe are the best you can get along with the tomb stuff. I think there is a better weapon you can get from doing the tomb runs also so keep an eye out for that. I know as a ranger there are bows from the tomb that are better than the masterwork titanium bow but the titanium bow has a use for us since it shoots 3 arrows per shot and can proc heals from items faster than anything else we have so swapping between the titanium bow and the elemental bows is optimal. You might even have similar options as a warrior but I have to check more stuff out since the patch changed a lot this time.

Thanks!

I am having a hard time researching stuff because most information I search up are severely outdated (even the armors have new names already). I had the idea that Multi-Strike+Crit is probably the best but I can't literally search for updated and useful info like where to get my equipment.

Yeah I'm currently using the Retribution Set (the red critical set) from the Sanctuary, along with a 190Atk+100Def Sword I got from the Hollow King. Already have the Cape that adds critical from the Hollow King as well. But my Ring is just some ring that adds a 'health recovery when you crit' passive.
Sayaches Jul 11, 2018 @ 3:16am
I play multistrike my warrior , here's my stuff : (names can be wrong, sorry)
Head : Outlaw hat (+4% multistrike chance, +1 strike)
Chest : Breastplate of Retribution (+71 HP when crit)
Gloves : Outlaw Gloves (+90 melee damage)
Legs : Gladiador Champion (+4% multistrike chance, +1 strike) : for fighting
OR : <Eternal fighter ?> (+1 double jump, +8% runnig speed) : for exploring
Cloak : Feather cape (+50 gravity, +50% falling damage resistance)
Ring : Ring of Divine Protection (+10% light damage resistance, +4% multistrike, +1 strike)

Weapons : <Titanium War Fist ?> : +20% multistrike chance, +1 strike, +100 HP regen (drop from Hollow King) => for eveything.
OR : <Crystal Cataclysm ?> : Sword, +106 HP, +20 Mana regen (recipe drop in C'Thiris) => For mana regen and light resisting enemies.

Even without critical chance bonus, the +71HP from the chest trigger fairly often.

LOA-Razim and Sayaches, took your advice and changed to Outlaw Hood and Gladiator Champion Legbraces. Switched ring to Ring of Divine Protection. Warrior went from 14 down to 13 hearts because Helm of Retribution gives +120 Health (CON) points. Was concerned but did not want to drink the void potion and redo stats. Went to Ancient Evil Electro Worm solo. WOW, I was taking out most worm tails in 3-4 hits were the old setup it was 6-7 hits. Only had to use Health Potion once because I was finished with worm tail and on the run before Big worms shot got close. I finished Evil Worm in 12 minutes where it would take 20-30 minutes before. Only had to attack Evil Worm 6 time to finish him were it normally took about 9 attacks to finish. Multi strike chance, +1 strike is the way to go. Thanks!

I haven't yet found the Ring of Divine Protection...need to keep hunting. But, I decided to try another solo run at the electro worm with my fiighter. I barely have enough time to kill a tail between dodging the worms..."electro bubbles", but when I finally destroyed enough of them for the worm to drop and begin my assault, I got too close and fell in the pit! :steamfacepalm:

Ring of Divine Protection is drop form Epic (larger that Normal) Chest in 3-05, 3-06, 3-07, 3-13, 3-14 and 3-15. But many other things can drop from Epic Chest like Player Level 24 Capes and Player Level 24 Weapons you cannot craft/make. The Epic Chest only opens once and you have to regenerate world to reset it. TKZip, go to the server/island where you put the storage chest the other day. Look around on the ground for a marking you should be familiar with. Dig around some to find the ring.

I was checking those islands for epic chests...the only new item I found was a special mage cape. :-/ But...I'll do as you suggest. Thanks!

While on the topic... do we know if there are more unique epic loot items than there are epic chests in a universe? I had started a second, small universe (much like the one created for the public server). I figured I'd eventually get it, but I'm open to shortcuts at this point. :-D

LOL (Un)lucky me! I found the Epic Chest on that island...and got another "Leech Lord's Tabard" (+102 mana, +17 mana regen). It's the same item I found on one of the higher 3-xx islands. I guess the drops are truly random (i.e., it's possible to get the same "epic" item in the same universe). So, the search continues. Not to worry...I'm nothing if not persistent. I'm over 200 hours into this game (but far from my peak of nearly 3000 hours in Fight the Dragon :ftd_dragon:).

I think there is more non-craftable items than epic chest.
Based on the Guide (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1424674901) there is at least 88 items to loot, not counting cloaks and rings. This mean about 2 epic chests per island.

TKzip hint #2 go to server/island you placed a storage chest at the other day. Look around on the ground until you see something odd. Someone has buried a pirate treasure chest with something inside.

Oh, I must have misunderstood. I went to that same island and found an epic chest. I should have realized it was more than a suggestion that I "might get lucky". I get it now and I'm heading there now. :-)

Found it - thanks! I left the items I didn't need for someone else to find, since I have several of the other items. I covered and marked it with a different shape--it should catch someone's attention. Maybe I'll check back in a week or so. It would be a shame for good loot to go to waste otherwise.

I don't get it...I have pretty much the same equipment now (and weapon), and it takes me way more than 4 hits to take out a tail. Sometimes I don't even have time to finish it off because I have to dodge the worm's projectiles. I probably have a bit more CON then your build since I have 14 hearts, but still...pretty close. I'm using an Increased Melee damage flask and Deafening Roar before each attack begins, and greater poison rain when I attack the worm (though I don't get that far very often). I think the most damage I did to the electro worm is 1/3 health. Apparently, I just suck at combat. :BuckeKnight: Need more practice...

I’m not a super gamer and have been working on E-Worm solo for 2 ½ months so I did not get good at it overnight. Lots of trial and error. I learned to time my attack with a roll to the other side of the tail to dodge E-worms shots and then reattack tail. It was taking almost all of the time the tail stays above the platform to defeat it. One of the things you said was using Increased Melee damage flask and Deafening Roar. I use the Electro Damage Protection Flask (EDPF) because it helps keep me alive if I take a bad hit. Be careful of small worm hits also. Two hits from a small worm will finish you. Some times it is good to clear some of the small worms so you can attack tail with out being hit by them. Defending Roar is for protection but only 20 sec where EDPF is good for 2 minutes. The War Cry is the shout I use, it boost damage you (or friends when playing with others) can deliver.

The Talents I use for E-worm are Axe Specialization, Commander, Adrenaline Rush, Determination, Chain Attacks, Empowering Lung, Combo Swing.

I will use scrolls of healing because there is no cool off period with them and I can heal up even if I just took a Mighty Healing or Mana Potion. I have my action bar set up like this: slot 1-Greater Poison Rain, Slot 2-EDPF, Slot 3-Healing Potion, Slot 4-War Cry, Slot 5-Sharping Stones, Slot 6-Scrolls of Healing, Slot 7-Axe, Slot 8-Mana Potion. This works best for me. One more thing is because I started PK on XBox I still use controler with PC ver.
