Epic Chests - Where to find them?

I've found my first epic chest (the big ones, that always drops an item) in island 02-04. I've also made the mistake, that i've created a short path to loot it fast. After i've created this short path, the chest no longer resets.
So my questions is, which island contains epic chests or is there a way to fix my mistake in building a short path?

Epic Chests (as you call them) the big ones - don't usually refill unless you regenerate. So the short path won't help.

Off the top of my head, there is one on Plains of Passage (1-10) and Farpoint (3-07) <--- the fallen wizards quest.

There are more, but those 2 come to mind.

It is sad that the Epic (Larger than Normal) Chest only opens once. Some dungeons and caves are hard to find as they are not part of a tower or temple. Some dungeon/cave openings are just a small hole in the ground and hard to spot because of vegetation. Other openings are marked by an unusual formation clue and if you dig up a few blocks in that area you find the opening. I have found Epic Chest on island 1-07, 1-08, 1-09 and 1-10. In the 2-xx island look for them at 2-02, 2-04, 2-07, 2-08, 2-10. In 3-xx search island 3-05, 3-06, 3-07, 3-13, 3-14 and 3-15.
