Fort Finch : Rebuilding?

Story wise, will Fort Finch be eventually finished rebuilding by its inhabitants? Or is that like... Up to me?

Should I build a base there, cause it seems like alot of work making it whole.

Who knows. The devs aren't above completely rearranging islands without warning. But I don't think they'd do it any time soon. They still need to get the last two updates out to console players who haven't played the new Fort Finch yet.

I built my base on the old Fort Finch which was really nice with lakes and hills, I wouldn't build it on the new one. Too many holes, no point fiddling with it beyond making it so you are less likely to fall to your death. There are better islands to choose from that don't need massive repair.

Me and my co op buddies (real life relatives and friends) ,we builded on the new fort finch map.From a gigantic holeee,we started and build walls down and we did a gigantic lakebetween our house and fort finch castle.Ideed the holes are annoying but 4 co op can easily makecool roads on the most walked areas,and also simply dirt fill all the annoying holes who were killer at night.

As for Fort Finch ,we also tought of fixing it manually,then we noticed the elevation problem.That would be annoying as hell to take all the castle from the elvated side and brick by brick ,sry block by block,to manually rebuild it to match the other side.The simply glue together the sides is easy.that is if you liked chaos and unequal stuff/We like all our builds to be simetric as possible.

#Cendre,do what we did,build your own castle (Ours beeing a kingodm eventually) ,and YES in Adventure mode so you can interact and have fun not just showcase like in Creative mode.Then again,we build ours before the creative mode ,beeing our baby since first found the map and made it Home and started our base and put like 300 hrs 4 players coop into it.

#Gana Dunno if to put in in Workshop or Not,very emotional about it and afraid of bad dislikes.You as a workshop awesome builder,what you think???What you suggest ??

#Cendre Advice ,if you start build castle in fort finch map.be Sre to find your end of map and mark it .we,as new players,thought map is gigantic and could build in all the white ness the sky shows -_- .And our kingodm build plans were chopped down to i think 35% or so.It is quite big as it is,but not nearly to what we wanted it to be

Since I haven't seen it I can't guess how well others might like it. But you don't need to really worry about dislikes and trolling. There are so many things stuck in the workshop every day, mostly people doing it by mistake or just pushing the publish button to see what happens, that the worst thing that will happen is it will get lost in the pile or be ignored.

Someone on the portal knights facebook group was complaining about the amount of cr*p in the workshop and how people weren't doing their workshop pages well. I paid attention to what they were complaining about and tried to do it right...so make sure you get a 'universe thumbnail' of your island, that you take several good screenshots of interesting places on the island, and write a little explaination or story about it....sell it. Give people a reason to subscribe.

Thank you for advices,good friend.I guess i will review all my stuff,do what you adviced and give it a shot in the next days.I also worry cuz my friends got bored eventually (beeing minecraft veterans for ages) so the castle is not yet complet.But the kingdom around it is.So that's why i dunno if to post I need ideas and suggestions for future finish build,not trolls and stupid people

If you really want to finish it and want advice, you should take screenshots of what you want to fix/finish and post in the Creative Corner part of the forum. Or on reddit /r/portalknights. I don't think you'll get a lot of help in workshop.

#Gana Kingodm meaning - Kingdom walls functinal ground lvl,top lvl,and underground lvl aswell.Impressive Kingdom Wall gate,imprssive Castle yard gate,castle yeard walls.
Huge Water channel for protection,wich also flows into a wide area for splendid view from the Royal Garden (still needs decoration).Cool paved road from devs's tower to the garden stone arch and balcony,then to cool small hill with secret entrance passway to a georegous pond.
Very cool farm (outside kingdom cuz our first build base) with devs wood house evolved with player hand made wood house and then small fortress.

Well,for now me and my friends went into Ark ,bough it when on sale,but i definettly want to finish the castle,and in future copy it into creative and expand to build it into the huge kingodm it supposed to be.
