Games similar to Portal Knights?
Hey all, I recently started to play Portal Knights and absolutely love it. Bought it for the RPG aspects but to my surprise got sucked in because of the crafting mechanics. I m playing this together with my wife and shes starting to get absolutely ADDICTED to this game spending hours just farming stuff and building structures. She has made several large-scale plans for our together sessions. I ve never seen her so motivated when it comes to games.

We finished our first map and even tho we can of course start a new one and continue doing the sandbox game I was having a look for similar games we can game.

Minecraft is too "pixely" and she doesnt need realistic graphics or scenarios (like zombie survival). Single player with coop feature should be a priority, she doesnt like/play MMOs.

I was looking around but didnt find anything so far. Maybe you folks can give me some pointers?

Or;
Steam: store page , search portal knights n click it , then scroll down to more like this game feature.

Internet: web search page then type "Games similar to Portal Knights"

Thou alot of results can come up "pixely". That is ok if u find something as sort break then come back to Portal knights. I'd stick with the Portal kghts record breaking(1000 hours and make it a millions rich to be a king) thou. :wnk_portal::happyalchemist::dollars:

i can suggest Lego worlds, you can play that together aswell, lots to do.. but then again, each their own. i think it,s worth looking into.

7 days to die, it has zombies and will probably never leave beta but good otherwise,downside is that zombies will attack your base.

Ark Survival evolved. Really pricey these days, not vector based but shiny graphics. And dinosaurs. Lots of dinosaurs. Also different mods that can keep you at a low tech level.

Lego Worlds, as mentioned earlier, Lego Style, not a lot of combat or story although it exists, building possibilities.

Terraria - sidescrolling instead of 3d, but you explore, mine, craft and build your way to the top.

Starbound - like Terraria above but a different direction, more like PK in a sense since you will just go to a planet, steal all their ♥♥♥♥ and then dump it and move on to the next planet.

This game and Terraria are so much alike that it would be the one I recommend most. Terraria is a 2-D pixel game, but there's easily 10 times more of everything in it than this one. (I think the lead dev for Terraria spent years obsessing on stuff to add to the game). The crafting is so extensive that you have to use the wiki so you don't miss out. It has fighting, hard mode bosses, randomly generated universes of various sizes, a multitude of biomes, mining, building, exploring, looting, seasonal events and fishing. (I actually love the fishing)
Edit: and it has co-op.
