How do "Additional Strike" works?
I'm using this "Crown of the Wicked" that have this "+1 Additional Strike" but I just don't understand how it works. I mean, I'm not hitting twice as I was assuming...

correct me if i am wrong but i think it means:
If you have a weapon that has a % chance of multi hit (crossbows, throwing-knifes, etc), you will get 1 additional hit for that.
For example: If you have 20% chance of multihit, you will deal 2 times damage (not includet critical strikes) with every fifths shot, means 2x damage + 1 additional strike = 3x dmg. those hits have a chance to deal critical damage aswell (scaling with critical strike chance and critical strike dmg).

Also, there's gear that give you more hits. You're not limited to 1 additional strike. If you have 2 items with +1 Additional Strike, you get 3 hits when you succeed the % chance.

I think +2 to your additional strikes means that a multi-strike is 4 hits.

Nope. It's not two double hits, as in, two multi-strikes of two hits each. It's one multi-strike with 2 additional hits. That means one base hit + 2 additional hits = total 3 hits.

"Additional Strike is a weapon and armor buff that grants an additional attack when Multi Strike is triggered."

a regular attack = 1 hit
a multistrike with +0 to additional strike = 2 hits
a multistrike with +1 to additional strike = 3 hits
a multistrike with +2 to additional strike = 4 hits

And what item gives multi-strike chance but no additional strikes?

Also the combo swing skill

and also some of those multi strikes can be critical hits, so you could strike 4 critical hits simulataneously

Just tested it, and that's true. Having a single +1 additional strikes results in 3 hits, +2 is 4, etc. Some of the numbers were covering the other damage so I couldn't tell there was an extra hit there. My bad.

Regarding the crits and multi strikes, it seems like each hit has a separate chance of being a crit.

ranger with titanium crossbow, all the multi strike and additional strikes armor, multi strike ring, crit cape then topped off with ranged damage flask

I think you're right. I'm pretty sure the crits are all handled seperately,

I think the Hyperion Longbow can do 12 hits with a single shot if ALL 3 of the arrows it shoots get a multistrike triggered AND you're wearing Shining Ring of Battle and Assassin's Hood (+2 additional strikes)
It automatically hits with 3 arrows, if they all get a multistrike, that's three more hits, then your armor/jewelry adds 2 hits for every arrow. That's six more.
I tried to record the damage numbers popping up in slow motion, and I swear that it will sometimes hit 3 times (no multistrike), 6 times (one multistrike), 9 times (two multistrikes), and very rarely 12 times (all 3 arrows getting a multistrike).
If you want to try and test it yourself, you need Hyperion Longbow, Assassin's Hood, and the Shining Ring of Battle
