Anyway, thank you for your quick answer ;)
I searched for this solution in various game sites about Portal Knights, but unfortunately I do not have a local savegame directory. So I can't delete/regenerate a single island...
The steam cloud moves saves from local location into cloud that's why you don't have local directory.
It's possible to mess around directly in the cloud folders with cloud enabled... but cloud will try to "fix" everything you do and will return errors in game, it requires way more work than local changes
I disabled the steam cloud, but now I have an empty local savegame directory. If I enable steam cloud again, I got all my saves back, but I don't know how to save these datas from cloud to my local directory.
The location of cloud folder for portal knights is:
*location of steam*\Steam\userdata\*your steam ID*\374040\remote\
You can manually move saves from there.
Or directly modify files in this folder, but if you do that then I advise you to backup all saves.
And your game has to be running when you edit files (if game isn't running then steam cloud will instantly notice that something is wrong when you start the game)
Sometimes it's smooth and everything is ok, sometimes you might get big errors, most of time errors give up if you try 2-3 times, sometimes they stay and you need to restart game, if that doesn't work then you need to use backup
That worked fine for me. I could copy all the saves from
*location of steam*\Steam\userdata\*your steam ID*\374040\remote\
to my userfolder where the local saves from Portal Knights should be, Now I just need to find the right file which I have to delete to get Glimmerglen reset. But thats not that hard, I guess.
Thanks a lot - you made my day ;)
UPDATE: Found the right file! Now I am in front of the Mage Guild :)
or theoretically (didn't mess with that), just replace other island with your home island and keep both mage guild and your home world (or replace other island with mage guild so glimmer is still your home if you want it that way)
Yep. You can actually purchase a blank island and then replace it with your built-up home island. Crazy, but it works. (I've never personally tried replacing an island with a different TYPE of island, so I can't vouch for that, but otherwise it works great.)
