SHIELDS?

I was really surpised that their was not any shields in the game, but their are one handed weapons.

becasue of the way the game is designed you equip a weapon by having it in the active slot, so sheilds aren't likely. about all they could do is have a shield and sword weapon. either that or a back item so you could at least carry a sheild arround on your back even if you couldn't use it

Not so much about game design, as it was a design choice to exclude shields.
