Moving a base

So I want to move my base to the newest island I've landed on (Anglers wharf). However before I get started building a new base, I wanted to know if there's an easy way to move the contents of chests? I have 3 chests that are full of random stuff that I dont want to lose particularly, and I'm wondering if it's possible to move those chests over as is, without having to juggle my inventory around and manually move them all?

Hi,

for now there is no other way then to carry the items in your personal backpack to the new island. Maybe do it with a friend, it can shorten the needed time ;).
