How do you get more hearts?

I'm playing the game as a Mage and my Health bar (The hearts at the top of the screen) won't get more heart icons. Does anyone know why?

Not sure on the exact number of Health points needed to generate an extra heart, But its more then likely because most of the mage gear doesnt have much health on it anyway, That and your not really spending your points into the health skill either, as you'd be putting the all if not the majority into widsom and intelligence

Though you can put more points into stamina if you want. to quote a former raid leader of mine from anotehr game, your DPS doesn't matter if you're dead
