Or, you could farm a boss and sell the Titanium Blocks they drop. they sell for alot.
That and buying your mom a nice night on the town.
10 stacks, 250 a stack, 2500 gold.
That's my reason for asking... I don't want people to fight :/
This method requires a little preparation but is insanely effective and simple. Higher qualities of all of the following will of course work better, but any level of them will work.
Step one: Get a stack of sharpening stones, the more the better.
Step Two: Make a drill.
Step Three: Empty your inventory of everything, save your weapon, drill and sharpening stones.
Step Four: Play a new world using the same character.
Step Five: Shred through the first level using the drill, using sharpening stones to refill durability.
A single full stack of dirt sells for $400 and getting many stacks is fast and simple. Once you've hollowed out the new level just exit and delete the world.
If you don't mind spending a little more time, and have furnace, you can also make 12 yellow brick blocks apiece using 12 dirt and 12 stone. A stack of yellow brick blocks sells go $4800. The only issue is that there is significantly more dirt than stone in the starting world.
And you should keep all hight value items/cubes in your “bank” ( item chest ) and sell them only then you really need money. in my home island I have chest full of titanium cubes and selling them then i want new pet, new haircut, or furniture for my home 😃
Ha, me too. I have a chest full of gold and a chest full of titanium. and any expensive item like Sky Dragon Recipes. Since this game won't let you put your money in a chest (like Terarria does) but insists you lose a lot every time you die (from falling mostly), I realized selling everything wasn't a good idea.
The "all you can mine" event is really good for building up gold and titanium, but I'm going to fill a chest with large stone bricks from looting the Tomb of C'thris event, too. I never realized how much they were worth because I've only used them to build with.

That's all well and good for high level characters late in the game. However, new characters in new world's don't really have that option. However both the large yellow bricks and yellow brick blocks can be made after obtaining the furnace.
