Beat C'Thiris?

Hey, I found the secret island, I'm in the event, been running around the ruins for hours but can't find "C'Thiris". I expected a boss or something, but else, how do I "beat the curse"?

It's not a "boss" per se, just a defenseless spinning cube. Once you kill it the "curse" is gone, as seen by the fact the blue thermometer no longer shows on screen. Either you haven't found it yet, or you did but didn't realize you had!
Note that killing the cube in question gives no particular worthwhile loot or recompense so you dont have to bother. The reward for that island as whole is the overall XP and loot, especially energy crystals. Make sure you open (mine) all the sarcophagae.

Oh that was it... a bit let down XD expected some epic boss fight or something... well let's empty this place of all that is useful XD

use the drops to make relics, the schematics are dropped with a low chance by bosses, this will spawn a level 35 version of the bosses, the light king is the true final boss and you can only get the relict after beating the curse of cthris

You get each respective relict from each normal mode version of the boss, Not sure on the drop percent chance of each relict is though. You get the Relict of Thunder from the worm boss on normal, Relict of Frost from the dragon boss on normal and the Relict of Light from the Last boss on normal. C'thiss Tomb world has nothing to do with the drops for them.

where do you get the energy crystals from tho?

You find energy crystals from completing the events that pop up in game or from the C'thiss Tomb. Monsters that spawn in events have a small % chance to drop them and the majoirty of the time any chest events that pop up usually have an energy crystal in them. Same for events like " Eternal darkness, Snow storm where you have to kill a crystal to complete the event.

Energy crystals again drop from monsters in the C'thiss world and from breaking the coffins dotted around the map. Whilst you need energy crystals to craft the teleport crystal to get to each hard mode boss + a different kind of gem, Frost sapphire, angels diamond etc, The recipe for these Teleport crystals is as previously stated from each boss on normal difficulty.
