Copying your current universe to mine in.

I was wondering if there is a way to copy your current universe to mine in so you have all your maps you have unlocked and buildings you have done to one of the other 2 universe spots?

By doing this you could use this 2nd universe to gather resources you may need while keeping what you want in place and then bringing back these resources back to your main universe and deleting this universe you created for the purpose of mining and making ugly in the process.

I tried editing the saved files, backed it up of course, and with the 2nd universe created it simply renamed the worlds island_01000100 instead of island_00000100 and had a second universe set of files with a 1 at the end but this doesn't work.

Is there a work around like this or do you have to start another universe and manually go though your portals again to reach these destinations and then simply delete the individual worlds only to refresh them when you deplete their resources as you needed to do when updates did not introduce new content?

You go to where you select your universe to play on, after character selection, and go to the other slots with scroll wheel on your mouse or click and drag over.

I know you can simply delete the individual world and you will get a new world to mine in then when you are done you replace it with the original file you backed up in case you wanted to save it but I would prefer to use a second universe to do this instead of with my main universe.

u got me wrong, i know how to create one, i mean u should create a new one(in the menu) and try to copy ure current game over it.

That's what I tried and replaced the map names with the format the new universe uses, the 1 instead of 0 in the world file for that universe, but it didn't work.

I was wondering if this is possible and if I missed something as I changed both the pksave and backup file when I tried doing this and as far as I saw by the date modified these were the only things created when I joined this new universe at this time.
