Occono is Exactly right!
The game does take up almost 3 GB because it uses remastered footage from the DVD release, which naturally requires more space.
However, I'm currently working on optimizing each game to make them more manageable in size. The good news is that even with HD video to match the HD menus, I've managed to get each game to less than a gig by using better codecs and an appropriate bit rate for better compatibility and support.
For example, the original Holmes introduction file is 141MB at 480i, but my optimized version is only 40MB at 720p. Big difference, right?
I'll be posting demos for these optimized versions soon.
