Exactly. For example, today developers of Talisman: The Horus Heresy announced that their game will leaving Steam on 22nd June "due to the publishing rights expiring".
That is, they at least warned. Unlike 'Eisenhorn: XENOS', which simply disappeared... I have been waiting for a good discount for too long....
I found Humble Bundle very user friendly in buying this though. It showed me how to activate it on steam, with links and everything. So they must have a deal going on with Valve eh?
Game that would just popularize warhammer. So it's win-win.
They could just extend license. And get some shares from sales on steam. Not like this was a bad game that would make GW look bad.
I liked game for being able to see all this scenery and so on. But I haven't moved past first planned and enjoyed it so far.
I think games should not be taken down. It's lame.
Then you buy it from them and activate the key on steam.
You get the game.
