Game optimization

Is this game horribly optimized or something? I have a GTX 970 and a Phenom II x4 965 and I can't get above 30 FPS at some areas. For a relatively old game, i would imagine it should be easy to max it and get 60 FPS.

I know my processor is a bit old, but I don't expect it to struggle this badly. In comparison, I think I get better performance in TERA, which is much more graphically intense than L2.

L2 have ever been horribly optimized. I play since 2006 and with as many PC config you can imagine, i aways get stutters and lags. Actually i own i5 3330 + gtx 960 and it lags alot

Lineage 2 does not utilize the GPU much. It is heavily dependent on your CPU. On a crowded siege with minimum graphics you will still have extremely low FPS.

any old dualcore cpu 3k+ ghz and integrated videocard 16 mb. but fps issue is not cpu or gpu dependent. fps and his bluring depends on your ssd.

That would pretty much be another problem, not from the game. I've played a lot of time both on the non-steam launcher and now I have 11 hours I think here. The game only lags for me when there's a ridiculous ammount of players/npcs/mobs in-screen (Like 85+ raid bosses) or the corpse issue that is listed in my guide for the game. To me it always runs at 30-40 fps and my PC is basicly a toaster with some pc things slapped into it. It runs PaydayThe Heist on 1080p with every setting on low at 25 FPS but L2 hasnt lagged out for me unless the mentioned above or a connection error
