Aion or Lineage 2
I see both games are comming to steam, and they are made by the same developer, which game should I play? Are they similar? Which one is better? Anyones opinion is welcome.

Aion is far better than L2. I suppose you could try both but I would suggest Aion first.

Yes, play Aion. I think people only play L2 nowdays because of nostalgia.

Does Aion still have a relatively large player base nowadays? I would like to try it but really I do not want to level up without seeing a single player (like what happened in Archlord 2). Thanks.

Well, I play on the Siel server and it's plenty active. Sadly, the vast majority of players hide on the intergrated fast-track server (PvE server) for as long as they possibly can. I think the cut off for that server is 60 now, which is only 5 levels below the cap, and there you will find tons of players still. I won't lie to you though - the standard servers are all but dead and low/mid level open world PvP and PvPvE instances along with them.

That stupid fast track server is turning Aion into nothing more than a typical PvE game. Such a shame too. It used to have some of the best open world PvP you could ever ask for.
