Report a translation problem
1) The AI noticeably decreases in quality when the game is played at or above 60 fps, so if you can limit your framerate to 59 via RivaTuner Statistics, I would recommend that. That is only relevant in single-player.
2) The Steam version has lost EAX support, which had different environmental reverb sounds for the different sized rooms. If you want to play with that effect, you would want to follow the instructions for installing CreativeALchemy here: https://forums.thedarkmod.com/index.php?/topic/18249-obsolete-as-of-tdm-206-tutorial-how-to-setup-eax-for-tdm-on-any-soundcard/#comment-392890
Note though that the guide was written for a Thief mod called The Dark Mod so just replace all references to that with AvP Classic.
