Which Cast Is Better?
Which FMV cash do you think is better? The original cast or the cast in the remake?
Persenally i think the cast in the remake is like the gang in TF2 and the cast in the original cast are like the gang in the rest of the Team Fortress games/mods since the gang in the mods and TFC are very professional but the gang in TF2 aren't as professional while they are still pros they are funny at times, like the guys in the remake i mean who would want to wake up to a guy saying. "Wake up Private we're in some seeeeeeeeerious sh*t."?

AvP Gold Edition (and AvP Classic 2000) have the terrible remakes done by the all-British staff of Rebellion in 2000. They were funny at the time. The original AvP released in 1999 has the super cheesy American actors and I always preferred them. It feels more authentic to the setting.

The new ones LOOK like more official high-ranking commanders and etc, but they sound a bit off. My memory is a bit iffy but I think the FMV guy from...um, Gateway I think kept switching between English and American dialects. I think the guy from Area 52 and Vaults is pure gold though, the way he gets more and more insane with each FMV was a delight and his facehugging topped it all off.

Yeah, it's probably because they have English accents but they're supposed to be the USCM. That is, the UNITED STATES Colonial Marines. Or as you said, because they switch between English and American dialects.

My problem with the original 99 actors is that they sound way too stiff, like they're just reading a script in front of a green screen. It doesn't help that they just stood in front of blank backgrounds. The newer cast at least felt like they were in the right environment...well, except for the guy in the first FMV of Caverns. ♥♥♥♥, that guy was completely out of place.
