Mouse & sensitivity
So the mouse seems really not as responsive as it would be ideally. There seems to be a bit of lag after you move the mouse and before the vision moves. This happens in many old games. Any way to fix? I want no lag, no acceleration etc.

What i did was i forced V-sync off from the Nvidia control panel. Mouse lag is gone, but theres a bit of screen tearing.

You can go into mouse settings in windows control panel and turn off 'Enhance Pointer Precision' from pointer settings tab. This turns off mouse accelaration and makes the mouse much more responsive to your movements.
Yes thx. This removes mouse accel, but this isnt the same as mouse lag.

usually 2 things make gaming bad:
-mouse accel(remove enhanced pointer etc)
-mouse lag (usually due to the vsync as the person above noted)

For me turning vsync off doesnt work (i use amd catalyst)unfortunately for some reason. Well i know what is perfect mouse movement (in cs 1.6 and csgo) and i cant do it in avp.

You're probably referencing to the mouse "dead zone" (the same as with joypad stick dead zone - if the cursor movement is too small the game doesn't register it). I think it was more relevant when the game was initially released as mechanical mice with ball bearings in them have ruled the earth (they did tend to give you a jumpy cursor, because the inner parts would get filled with fluff and dirt from time to time)

It probably is some line of code in some config file, but I'm still looking for it.
