The download link is in the video description. Thanks to dedicated fans and the creation of the Master Server patch (latest version included in the download), the multiplayer is still alive! There are still quite a few servers online, but most of them are empty. Let's change that!

I recently downloaded and installed it to my Acer One 10 windows tablet (doesn't have an optical drive, couldn't use my old discs) and it works great (though you will have to run it in compatibility mode for Windows XP Service Pack 3)

While we would all prefer a steam re-release, with updated support and matchmaking, that will probably never happen. 20th Century Fox owns the rights to the Aliens and Predator franchises, but Warner Bros bought out Monolith and the rights to the Lithtech engine that AvP2 is built on in 2006, and the game's publishing rights have been stuck in legal limbo ever since. Disney owns the rights to the Alien/Predator franchise now, but it's still highly unlikely that they will bother trying to settle with a competing media corporation like Warner Bros to get the publishing rights to a 17 year-old game.

Will we have to download and install the new MS patch ourselves, or will it auto-update when we enter multiplayer? I had to manually update older versions of the MS patch on my laptop (I usually play on my laptop using the original discs), but I thought I remembered the game updating automatically for the last MS patch after I clicked on Mulitplayer in the Main menu.

Does anybody know who the jackass behind the DDoS attacks against TBBC is? I'm sad to see TBBC go, it used to be probably the best AvP2 station for me (and many others) in recent years. I was playing on Rommie's servers like two moths back or so but they pretty much sucked.

When I try to hop on any sg-2 server, i get a message saying that i was disconnected because game rescources differed from the server. It seems to have happened shortly after the latest master server update
