Sorry to hear that you've been having issues getting Robbery Bob: Man of Steal to launch. We'll look into this and get back to you as soon as we can. In the meantime, could you try going through the suggestions here and seeing if any of them fix the issue?
Yep, just as I assumed, the problem was on my end. I had to manually install a secondary installer (number 6 from the link you gave me), vcredist_x64. This isn't the first time I ran into this issue trying to run a game, but really glad you were able to help me and possibly others. Thanks! :)
Great to hear you got the game up and running. Hope you enjoy it!
Hello Dev, I recently decided to get back into playing Robbery Bob to 100% it, but I'm having trouble getting it to run; whenever I start up the game it's just kinda freezes up, and I have to ctrl alt delete to exit out of and close it; I've tried both uninstalling and reinstalling the game, openAL and both 86 and 64 bit versions of Visual C++ Redistributable Packages 2013 version ( I currently have the 2015 versions on my machine). Is there anything else that I'm missing in order to run the game right?? I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, Intel Core I5 4590, and a EVGA 1050 Ti 4gb gpu, although I played this game previously using integrated graphics without any issues.
Any help would be most appreciated.
I had the same problem as you, and unfortunately I think the dev have since moved on from this game, so I doubt they'll respond with a suggestion for a fix; here's hoping I'm wrong and they do though.
