I guess i should wait until the grumpy moderators login so i can get banned aswell?
RPGMO.. the place to go.. to watch faith in humanity die.
Please send me your username to support@mo.ee
Most likely you are trying a wrong username or never saved your email to your account. Hopefully we can solve both problems.
How can it be the wrong password for an Invalid user.. that is what the client tells me.
That isn't even logical.. it's like it was made in europe or something.
My details were still sitting in the login information.
The notepad beside my pc with my username, password and email that i use for my games was also wrong apparently.
There is literally nothing i could have done on my end to cause this problem.
The only time i changed the password was after the error.
My account name was Invalid with a new password.
But hey somehow its my fault, im assuming you think im inept in some form or another, thats the "Most likely" reason yea..
Im not going to bother hitting up support, because now i know in the future my character can just get deleted again whenever for whatever on a whim.
I guess i should be greatful that these steam forums are even checked.
Invalid user in the password reset screen could mean that: the user did not have that email in the account settings or account with that name doesnt exist.
I still strongly suggest sending your username to our support email so we can check it from our side.
-pretend its your fault.
-give you bad troubleshooting advice.
-act in a manner that is nice but still demeaning and condescending.
I can understand that this game most likely has children playing it for the majority, but there are better games out there and i don't want to jump through the poorly made hoops that are meant to be supportive and helpful, which obviously aren't if i need to email a dev to retrieve my stuff.
Clearly i was intentionally deleted, why else would i need to go the extra mile otherwise?
If im the idiot.. how did i get the email for my password to retrieve my account, only for the system to tell me the account was invalid when i tried to login with the new password?
Why did i receive a password email then for an account that is apparently invalid?
My notepad with my username and password doesn't lie, only the dev team for this game does.
Yeah.. im the idiot.. lol.
White knights.. gota love the friends of the devs.
I wrote my username and password on my notepad, an actual notepad.. with a real pen and real paper that sits beside my gaming computer.
So i know the problem isnt my end and i don't want to invest time into something that can just be deleted on a whim of a pissed off dev and his white knight friends.
After reading through the reviews i noticed a pattern.. this has happened before to other people.
And will happen again to other people.
