Aspect ratio
Is there a way to run ECC in fullscreen with side borders, like AGS games? ECC takes up the whole (16:9) screen, so everything is stretched horizontally.

I know this is an old post, but it might be your display settings and how it deals with aspect ratios that are forcing the stretch view. I am play it once in a while on Surface Pro 2 full screen with no issues with aspect ratio. It displays normally with black bars on the sides.

That's interesting. What resolution is it running in on Surface Pro 2? For me the game runs in 800x600. I tried setting a different scaling mode through the NVIDIA Control Panel, but it doesn't even list the 800x600 resolution (I think because Windows hides resolutions lower than 1024x768).

On an external monitor I can set the aspect ratio for non-native resolutions from the monitor's on-screen menu. Setting the aspect ratio to 4:3 seems to look just right.
