Papaya is a fresh start server, i have no clue on what else is different from iTOS.
The only thing we know is that they disabled level boosts.
Papaya is known for taking good games that are condemned to close the server and offering a "Differentiated" service removing the pure pay to win (fast) features.
This is a new Tree of Savior server hosted by papaya, which will remove the Lvl Boost systems and lvling facilitating mechanics.
In short, according to them, they will provide an experience different from the TOS we know, and give a fresh new experience where effort will be the focus instead of pay to fast (p2w). While this sounds wonderful, pay to win could indeed happen in the future, and we also must know that papaya catches "good" games but "that are near death" to try save them at same time making some money. Therefore, the game's community may be small, because if the person invested a lot of time and money in the current TOS (Itos) server, he might not want to start all over again on the papaya server.
iTOS, jTOS, twTOS, kTOS are now all within 1 week of distance patch-wise, and we just got a new raid update 2 weeks ago, the game is releasing content faster than when it was "alive".
After the separation from Nexon the only server that is not under IMC is twTOS.
Allegedly this "TOS Global" server from Papaya will be running in parallel to the other servers as its own thing separated from iTOS.
Yeah, but i have some hope now for this game, and for sure ill give it a try! My only fear, is the community to be so low to the point of not have players enough to build a in game economy. Im sure South American players will be there and also those who arent glad with actual TOS, but how many in % it means? Maybe not enough to build a solid game server community i guess.
Botters died out for 2-3 years now on IMCgames' server thanks to built-in systems to countermeasures botters. Hopefuly Papaya open up the same ideas that IMC had it and less complicated as much as possible.
