Targeting in Mouse Mode

Hello.

What the heck is wrong with this game and especially with targeting in Mouse Mode? It's a pain to play with ranged class and try to target a mob If any tank or player's pet reaches close to target. My character attacks in direction where it looks but not in the mouse coursor direction. Any fix for this crap because im near to drop this game?

In mouse mode you target whatever mob your mouse hovers over, you can also click them to attack them instead of pressing Z, if you just shoot into the nothingness then it's too far away.

The problem is i cannot hover a mob because tank or pet is too close to it. My mouse turns into a "speak" coursor. It's a pain to do dungeons or play in a party.

well i've never had a player/pet so close that it turns into a chat bubble, worst case scenario use target lock on after getting it targeted. I forgot what was the button for it in mouse mode but it's found in the key bindings.

Why cant they just make a character attacking in a mouse coursor direction?

Dunno mouse is weird to me, but i got used to it, i play a mage, and when i use an AoE that isnt targeted it goes in the direction of the mouse, but anything else needs a target or it goes into oblivion (Also i find it funny that if i target a mob and it's too far away for a spell, it says it's too far away, but if i have nothing targeted i throw the spell into nothing and waste SP)

I think ranged attack would be way harder just by attacking in the mouse cursor direction.

There is also the issue that some quest objctives cant be targeted in mouse mode.
Add
<HotKey ID="Select" Name="선택/스킵" DownScp="None" UpScp="None" Key="E" UseShift="NO" UseAlt="NO" UseCtrl="NO" OnEdit="NO" Category="Battle"/>
to your hotkey_mousemode_user and replace the "B" with your desired button to skip having to switch out of mousemode.
