Seems pretty solid for map clear atm
if anything, I think classes that don't require to much cast time like melee classes would be the best bet. So that limits it to the Swordman/Cleric/Archer line.
I think Monk has really fast attacks since they don't have a cooldown on their main punch move and their other punches don't have terrible cooldowns. maybe that could be an idea? But it does require you to go through cleric though so I don't know how you might feel about that.

in the swordman idea, wouldn't pirate be a good thing for the jolly roger drop chance ?
also I can't seem to understand why hoplite would clear better than barbarian
Corsair offers alot more buffs, and more dps to single target, but its hard to beat the Cyclone for mob clear.
Yes, and Double Paid.
You get Hoplite because they use shield and has shield skills. Barbarian are geared towards 2h iirc.
oh alright, with barbarian no swashbuckling except with weapon swap, that totally makes sense.
then I if i may ask, why not hoplite1+cata2 ? cataphract seems to have insane aoe attacks even with one hand spear+ shield
Of course, you could do it if you want.
My best guess is that cataphract is a wise choice as long as doppel and pelt/hop skills are usable while mounted.. if they are not then hoplite indeed
I guess that sword/pelt1/hoplite3/doppel2 is the best way to go for a swordman farm build then.
what about an army bokor ? like pump up the glyphs/zombify and just sit in a corner while they ravage everything ?
Doppel does nice at only one circle, so going Sword/Pelt1/Hoplite2/Corsair2/Doppel1 is an option
Hey can a Squire Mount? the Companion????? because im buying 1 right now!!
Personally I like Corsairx1>Fencerx2 or Corsairz2>Fencerx1. Good soloing, fast movement, high evasion, and just Jolly Roger 5 makes farming a lot swifter usually.
Swordsman the bread and butter starter class that you will be stuck with until you decide on what you want to play the only plus to even decideding on trying to take them into C3 is Gung-Ho (150 atk) + Concentrate (126 atk) or if you're playing on rolling with a 忍び (Shinobi).
Centurion would have been an awesome TANKER class but sadly IMC removed it from the game because they said it was to OP, which they were right it was stupid OP made the party immortal at times.
Corsair is limited to a lot of single target abilities other then that they can open any chest without using keys, have dual weapon abilities and have jolly rogger which is super awesome if you can master it.
Fencer's biggest problem is the Rapier has to be in main hand to use their skills, they are synergetic with many classes, they have super high evasion, super fast attack speeds with muilti hit cappabilities.
Barbarian doesn't really have anything bad about them they're a pretty flexible class ton's of AOE Power Hits with any weapon, low cooldown skills, is pretty much and endlass skill spammer.
Rodelero a lot of people thought they would be really good at PvE Tanker however they are really only good with PvP since they are able to dash into battle inflicting various status alignments to the enemy, oh and they always have to use a shield for there skills.
Peltasta is mainly picked for Swash Buckling because at C3 it can taunt 21 mobs this makes them the goto party class for grinding parties however they really have no other skills going for them past C1, unless you intend on just being a TANK in which case it could take 10 minites for another player to take your ass down in PvP.
Hoplite is a Large Size Boss/Monster hunter that utilizes 1h/2h spear skills they have good AOE not as good as Barb or Highlander but pretty good, they are also one of the best multi-hitter vs Sized monsters in the game, they get a bonus for attacking Large Size monsters unlike other classes. The down side is all their skills are limited to 1h/2h spears, and they have very high cooldowns on those skills to the point that they need a support class in combat.
Dopplesoeldner has a few bad qualities their skills are based off of the use of 2handed weapons meaing you really need to have a rank of Highlander for them to really be of any use. Double Earn Pay you take 3x the amount of damage you would normally take also it does not double the drop rates of a specific mob it just DUPLICATES whatever is dropped people go in thinking they will get double drop rates so not ture. There Defense also super low to the point that you need Cross Guard from Highlander to survive unless you have CON invested. The good things about them they have Deeds of Valor and there skills are on low cooldowns with many overheat charges.
Highlander is super fun just like the Barbarian which is why they are so good when paired together Swor1 > High2 > Barb2 > Dopp2 is the best combo for a 2h swordmaster. The only bad thing about them really is that some of there skills requires you to go into the C2 or C3 area which sucks becuase some people want to get C1 Pelt for Swash Buckling.
Cataphract's biggest drawback is most of there skills require you to be riding to utilize there skills, but they do have high speed movement + knockdowns and are highly valued in PvP/GvG.
Squire's is an off-battle class you should only play them is you want to earn money fast, there only other good thing is Arrest can immobilize bosses. There primary use is to set up a refreshment table, repair station, and/or weapon/armor maintance during dungeons and gvg.
Templar's only good thing is they can create a guild which through there skills they can make guilds be super awesome the only PvE skill they have is the party buff if you want a lot of resposibility then go with this class otherwise stear clear of them.
Shinobi is very fun and has very flexible weapon skills they are more for PvP then anything they are really good when paired with a Rodelero, while they can still be used for PvE, because there low DPS they will often be kicked out of groups more aftan then they would like.
Dagoon who doesn't like a big elite spear wielding menace on the field well they have a few drawbacks. Yes they can use both 1handed and 2hand spears but they get most of there bonuses when they use 2handed spears also some of there skills can be limited to riding, because of this choosing Fencer C2 or Dopplesoeldner C2 would be a better choice. You should only pick Dragoon if you plan on being a Cataphract C2 or C3.
