I heard that their online games usually require their national id info and stuff.

The game is not even fully out yet please man take it easy... this is not a huge deal lol the eu server is in US so that's something that should be taken care of, just message ToS about it cause they listen to community, but come on they came isn't even released and you are crying with (is this a joke and seriously..) there is lots of games out there that do this ♥♥♥♥ but im sure ToS is going to add steam in there but they have other more important things to fix and not something people can easily make a google or facebook account for being shattered about this? Stop crying atleast you can play just not with steam as for now lol.

Let me ask a favor: link me other (western world) forum with same restriction -where you cant even create basic account. (register)
One of most restrictive forums i know is NeoGAF -and you still can create account in there (just need to wait a LOT for them to accept it)

BTW -im not dissing Tree of Savior (game) so please no rampant fanboism in here, ok?

I couldn't register for the original closed beta because they did that. I don't have a google or facebook account nor do I want to have one. So I just skipped that and waited for it to come to steam instead.

Sorry if I can't give you a link to the post, but I'm relatively sure I read they were going to implement login with steam. I have been checking their forums regularly in the past motnhs and now and than try the login page to check if steam option is there, they never failed to disappoint me in that regard :)
Like you, I find it almost unbelivable not being able to create an account on their site, but as mentioned before the devs are from Korea and things works differenly there (it's a beautiful world because it's colorful)
Since the game has offically launched on Steam only a couple days ago, I'm inclined to think it's not entirely IMC's fault, but it is also Valve related, might take some time.
