Collection question

Do I need to keep all of the items for a collection in my inventory, or can I just get the collection and then sell the stuff I collected?

What you need to do for a collection is talk to the NPC and register the collection box. Then drag your items into the collection box. One of each to fill the box.

At that point the box gets a trophy symbol and its buff effect effects all your characters.

Do note that once you put an item in the collection box it is gone for good. You cannot register your Vubbe Fighter Blood and keep it too.

No. You register a collection box at special NPC's, then drag an item from your inventory to your collection. The item is bound to collection and disappears from character inventory. You can safely dispose of the rest of its kind any way you prefer.

If you're wondering, the NPC is in Klaipeda just north of the statue, or over in Orsha in the North West corner (where you first come in from the starting area).

Though if you are wondering at that info, do also talk to that Wings of Verboria (or whatever :P ) npc. She'll give you exp cards for some of your maps/kill achievements (doesn't seem all of them grant some), and silver for enough 'achievement' in collection boxes/quests/map/monsters/crafting/gimmicks. You can find the Klaipeda one east of the statue, and the Orsha one is 'hidden' in an alley west of that statue. Neither can be found in Feldmian :(


Just don't burn out on col boxes. Some are super simple to complete, some are a little more work, and some are bloody insane. And many, many, require the painful decision "do I give up my headgear that I love wearing, or do I grind/save another and use that" =P

Is this a bug?...if you have one of a certain item, and you give it to a collection it'll go away, but if you have more of 1 item and you give it to a collection, it won't go away?

It should take one of them. When you drag an item over, it should prompt you to confirm that you are putting it in, and when you accept, 'consume' the item.

if your second character gets a second collection box (same type as first character got) any reason to keep it - usable somehow - sellable ??

Tossable.
It might add to the list of 'items found' in the achievements, but that's about it.

I thought that too, but it's just a visual bug. If you check your inventory later again, you see the amount is decreased by 1.
