How to stop a video recording?
About 20 minutes into the game and I realized that I was recording a video and it already took up 2GB. How do I stop it?

In steam in order to take a screen shot the button to press is F12, sadly in TOS that is also the button to record a video.
Which means go into your settings in-game and change the key :)

Killing steam overlay for the game might work as well, but then you're inconsistant across your games - unless you do it for all of them *shrug* whatever works best for you.

Yup. I usually tell my friends this the FIRST THING to rebind their recording key if they decide to play Tree of Savior if they feel like screencapping.

Yeah but how do you stop it? I hit F12 again to see if it stopped but it didn't. :steamsad:

The key to start it should also finish it. If it doesn't, kill the client (Alt+f4!)will assuredly work. If that fails, taskmanager and kill the process. If that fails, thermite on the hard drive always works.

You could go into settings, rebind the key, then hit the NEW key and see if it stops it. It's what I did first time I ran into the F12 issue. Then remember to go clean up all the files that were recorded.

That actually could work: delete the files. If it says they are in use, alt-tab to ToS and hit the key. Try deleting the file again: if it works, you had stopped the recording. If it doesn't, crash the client, delete the videos, and then remap the keys.

I did try and delete the file while the recording was on, just to keep playing. But it didn't delete. So yeah, had to close the game, delete the video, re-enter and queue up again. Ugh.
