Although right now you'll probably be venturing solo for the most part of your early levels(sadly).
The salt and hate starts when you look into this game more seriously.
- Tree of Savior is a free to play game, so you can waste a couple hours seeing if the art and gameplay is for you. Ignore all the popups, stats, alerts and goings-on around you and just follow the quest markers.
- It has a ton of replayability thanks to all the classes and class combinations available (see the skill simulator at tos.guru) The latest patch (Re:build) has made all the classes viable for casual play, even if you ignore the meta builds.
- Gameplay is casual-friendly. You can solo quests and farm on open fields/dungeons. You can co-op instanced dungeons. Can't give an informed opinion about pvp/gvg because I don't pvp much
- You can pay to win if you are so inclined. Either buy powerful equipment via the premium packages or buy tokens used for premium subscriptions and sell them on the open market for in-game currency.
- Or you can just buy a monthly premium subscription and grind things out. You can play the game just fine with basic equipment, which means you don't really need to pay to win if you just want to have casual fun.
The "Wake Up Growth" package is basically a high-end weapon that grows in strength as you level. It's not so bad since you can buy equivalent weapons on the market, but the really OP stuff comes with the high-end upgrades and OP recovery potions.
You don't need these packages for casual play, but it's just bonkers unfair for those seeking to engage in competitive play.

Granted, all the OP gear we are getting can only be used for 30 days but it feels like we'll have more than enough time to get at least one character in a very good position to support/fund any other characters we might want to play.
