This Re:Build Thing
Hello, I'm a returning ToS player (wanted to give the game a 2nd chance.). But if I understand correctly. Should I just stop playing this game until this huge over-haul makes it to the west?

It rubs me the wrong way that they're taking away manual stat allocations because it will push away so many players who creatively made a build that fits their play-style. Plus I enjoy having control over the growth of my avatar.

I feel bad for the hard-core community~

Never really understood this "stat allocation" deal, people just go on the net looking for a guide to copy after all.

Give it a try once it lands in the west, it's free anyways what do you have to lose??

" You can still invest stat points obtained from quests and Goddess Statues freely in a stat of your choice, and you can reset them with a Stat Reset Potion as well."

Isn't that about 30 points or something? I mean is not much but I'll take it.
I'll love this update!

they're also changing stats to give a % bonus every 10 so if they let people manually allocate them there would be a giant damage disparity between full damage stat builds which is exactly what they're trying to stop people from doing.

When this update will release?
Doc Nov 23, 2018 @ 7:31am
Should release in December on korean servers, so probably early next year on iToS ?

So they're basically dumbing the skill trees down slightly by giving players 52 stat points, 150 skill points and 4 classes to pick from (each will have max ranks) with endless class combonations into a pregenerated paperdoll at Rank 1, 2, 5, and 8.

Should be fun.

Sorry in Re:Build it will be Scout Squire.

I think people are greatly misunderstanding the direction Tree of Savior is going. The player base is looking at "removing" and instantly jumping to conclusions for this means. Reading over the proposed changes to ToS and the reason behind them, I am very excited for Re:Build. This will greatly improve the game and make our character choices more meaningful.

I think they have been planning this for years. You cant just keep adding on new class circles the way they were---early classes were being pointless or pure utility. Excited for Re:Build, hopefully it comes out next month. Don;t know about others but i dont really plan on playing til it happens.
