I install patch 1.01 and Bonus CD from Evil Planet, now Evil Genius ask for CD

So what the title says, when I install patch 1.01 and th Bonus CD Evil Genius asks for CD.

Is there any way to have this game updated (steam release is not updated) on steam?

I didn't have this issue. First have steam reset your files to the 1.00 version. To do this in your library right click on the game name. Go to properties, then the tab Local Files, then select the option Verify Game Cache. It should reset you to the original download.

Then apply the 1.01 patch. After that download the bonus CD. Click on the Setup.exe option only for the Bonus disk. Direct both to the game in the Steam Apps\Common\Evil Genius folder naturally.
