Links to Evil Planet and N1nj4.com broken

Hey guys, so I found Evil Genius on Steam with the last big sale, and though it would be well worth pulling it up with the *proper* updates from whoever currently owns it, and installing some mods this time.

Problem is, Evil Planet seems to have finally stopped hosting, so I can't find any good information on mods and patches etc, as I recall it was the #1 place to go. I tried working around it, but every single mod and the custom patch is (was) hosted by N1nj4.com, and they *also* seem to have stopped hosting.

Have both sites kicked the bucket after all these years?

If so, where can I get the custom patch (if I still need it with the steam version?), and where can I get mod download info?

Do you mind giving both a quick test, it might just be me?

Is that the patch to 1.0.something, or the bonus content? I found that link on another thread, but the page was rather vague as to what it was exactly, plus Rebellion keep insisting the steam version is updated.

Oh sorry - it might a problem with my system/connection, are you able to access the website?

I hadn't downloaded it yet, still looking for other hosts of patches and mods. None that I've found so far.

Just vague shorthand for "Is it my fault?" - seems it's just coincidence that I picked it up as n1nj4 and Evil Planet stop hosting.

Ah, thankyou - I forgot you could do that!

Did anyone eventually figure out what version steam hosts? Rebellion insists it's the latest, but for some reason didn't like having "Load and Save", because "Load Save" is... simpler?

What will I need to install, just your first link?

It's not letting me extract from the download at http://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/404-evil-genius-pcgamingwiki-patch/ . I really just want to use this one since it has everything all in one place and it would make things that much simpler. Can qnyone help me out?

Evil Planet & Evil Genius 2 merged apparently. So the original site was taken offline, all the files from the Evil Planet were ported over to Evil Genius 2. You can find it here: http://www.evilgenius2.co.uk/

n1nj4.com was back for a bit the last couple of weeks (even allowing new registrations), but now it's "parked." I managed to send a few more pages of the forum to archive.org, but it's a slow process so most of the deep threads remain unarchived. Evilgenius2.co.uk does have partial backups, converted to their forum format, but afaik all of the file links are dead or removed (and links still point to n1nj4.com pages rather than evilgenius2.co.uk backups). At least with n1nj4 still up, you could troll for archival copies.

Anyone here know what the actual deal is with these sites?
