But what's not fixed is you guys not bothering to link a trailer for this game on the steam page :) Games with trailers on the store page often sell much better than games with just pics.
Here's a good trailer if anyone wants to see one:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLuTO-2VR6w
Also I haven't verified it recently, but last I checked, you guys hadn't included the bonus CD with the extra henchman and extra traps and items in the steam version, however there were steam posts on how to get these back into the steam game.
Is there a place to get the extras anymore? Have had the game since it's original release in some shape or another, long since lost the files for the extras
you can download the bonus CD in it's entirety, completely free and 100% legal from this link:
https://www.moddb.com/games/evil-genius/downloads/evil-genius-bonus-cd
it was originally available to download for free on the evil genius game website.
And YES, it does work with the steam version. just run the setup.exe file and point the install directory to ".\steam\steamapps\common"
don't select the Evil Genius sub-directory, it will get selected automatically by the setup directory. just finish the setup process and then start a new game.
Its good if people new to the game are aware of this so they can backup and reload as its easy to miss.
What I would like to see the most, would be a official patch applied to steam version, so we do not need to install it manualy and then use no-cd fixes . Perhaps add some fixes from the unofficial ones too. Also pop cap increased to 200 (officialy).
Complete Bonus pack with henchman, items and other goodies could be included so ppl do not need to search for it and install it separetly. Or put it as a free dlc (like bonus content pack for X3: Terran Conflict)
Some good Evil Lair layouts for both islands with trap coridors for newcomers
EDIT: Since I have older NB, where I play 15+ years old games, and have free time on garden or at work, a no-cd instalation (with patches and bonus content) would be welcomed so I could play EG there. For those who bought it on Steam atleast.
C'mon guys! This is ironically the only game where I'd be able to upload a sizeable amount of proprietary workshop content, and yet there is no platform for which to do so
Have you never heard of Nexus before then? https://www.nexusmods.com/evilgenius/
Where is the last piece for the doomsday device that turns people into workers? I have been sending squeeming minions literally everywhere and i cannot find the FUC KING last piece! Please help i beg you.
