Every NPC is aggroing

im playing multiplayer with my friend and every npc(humans monsters, shopkeeper) are attacking everything and everyone.
We beat the herx in this run for the first time and we eached the human town, everyone was fighting each other.
you can sometimes interact with them if you sneak up on them like the humans, you can recruit them if ou sneak behind them, or the shopkeeper, you can buy stuff if you're sneaky.
