its ideal to pair the classes strengths with the races weaknesses, or vice versa.
for example, playing accursed as an incubus steers the stealth mage that accursed is a little more towards stealth, and a little further from mage early on. you can also read cursed spellbooks, which not only means more spells early on, but also saves you the time of identifying them. arcane mark is also great, cause in the early game it lets you sneak in some smug backstabs with teleport, but in the late game it makes offence magic more viable as some enemys tend to pack on a LOT of magic resist. the only big issue is the whole "curing the curse" thing, which is a bit trickier without levitation. although if you are playing multiplayer, you can always get to the library easily as long as someone else can, thanks to arcane mark + teleport! another thing with accursed incubus is pairing vampiric aura with strangulation amulets to make it last a bit longer. the damage is negligible with the added lifesteal, but you will want to try and stock up a bit before they start getting hard to find.
Very good points, those! I'm already going to cover the interactions between the race and class and how they mix. One glaring issue about the combo I'm looking to cover: it's probably the slowest possible playstyle, that doesn't involve grinding nor being a skeleton.
