Does casting from a Spellbook count as "reading" it as far as achievements are concerned?

Specifically I'm curious if I can work on these two achievements in the same run as Goblin:
Dyslexia - Burn 50 spellbooks to ash as a Goblin across multiple playthroughs.
Illiterate Conduct - Win the game without having read any books, scrolls, or spellbooks.

I just got all the other Conduct achievements recently so it would be cool to knock this last one out and not have to worry about playing in a restricted manner again for a while.

Hi, casting from the spellbook while equipped does not toggle the illiterate flag, should be OK to try go for those 2 achievements at the same time.
