Features they can add to barony
1. Increase the amount of monster spawns meter in game settings so players can set it way they want
2. new class - paladin - starts with sword/sheild and blessed crown +1 + healing spell - downsides its mana per level is lowiest of game
3. new weapon type - scythe
4. new monster type reach zone

part 1 - orcs or orges
part 2 - dryads or plant like monsters
part 3 - mummies or sandman like monsters
part 4 - liches

1, Would need a huge amount of rebalancing depending on how high you set the monsters and has already been mentioned multiple times.

2. There is the Cleric or the Monk, both giving sort of what you want aside from the crown.
3. Why always a Scythe? I much rather have Flails or Daggers that are not thrown.

Part 1. Orcs and Ogres dont really fit a mine setting or an cave one, I believe bug bears are the equalient to them.
Part 2. Yes, Dryads or Auronas would work well, feel that.
Part 3. Perhaps you mean Sand Golems? Could be an interesting step stone between trolls and Crystal Golems, not so sure about Mummies.
Part 4. Herx is literally an Lich already. So adding them as a common enemy seems.. odd.

Alot of the games balance already doesn't account for the gameflags that exist in game, only adjusting certain things(mainly the no-hunger rule) to not make a chunk of items irrelevant. (though they still miss some.) Thus having a enemy slider to increase/decrease enemy counts would not and should not factor at all into the game's balance. If people want to turn the game into 30 skeletons outside the spawn door, that doesn't have to be taken into account by the devs in balancing the rest of the gameplay just because a slider was given, the player chose the extra challenge so if they can't handle it, they can't handle it.
