How do I Public Host?

How do i make a game public? when i host an online game it shows "friends only" and theres no option to change that, is my game missing something? I saw on reddit that i can change that by going to some "View Game Settings" button but there's no such thing on my screen idk why

Click "View Game Settings" when you host the lobby and take your slot. It'll give you the option to make it friends only or public.

To clarify, on your character creation window in the lobby, as the host, the button for "View Game Settings" is at the top right under your character name.
