Minotaur strategies
- keep in mind this creature should be avoided early in the game, as his damage output, AC and HP make him nearly impossible to defeat
- run away and shoot at him make sure you turn around when you run, as you can Never outrun the minotaur backpedalling.
- invisibility occasionally confuses the minotaur, use this to get a hit occasinally.
weapon recommendatons
- staves of lightning, fire or cold
- shortbows (not as effective due to high AC)
armor recommendations
- unless your AC is 30 and you have a good sheild you should run and shoot at him. otherwise drop any heavy armor as you will need the speed more for this fight.
- wear light armor to not lose as much speed
other useful items

Baphomet
Highest HP
Highest AC
level to fight recomendation
35

- Fire Wave summons about 20 fireballs that hit for low damage but have long duration burn
- Boulder walls makes boulders appear on each side in the following order left, right, then one large line keep in mind there are gaps between each boulder so you can dodge.
- summon demons and imps
defenses
- moves around the map via lavapits
- is stationary in the lava pits while attacking
- most magical effects have no effect (sleep, etc)
- see invisible ( or hes really perceptive)
Baphomet strategies
- during the fire wave you need to be a good distance away from him as you can often get hit more than once usually its a maximum of 3 times, shoot with ranged attacks him during this phase
- during the boulder phase if you have levitation ring, or boots, you will want to stand over the pit, and shoot him while he gestures to create the boulders. otherwise focus on dodging.
- during his summon phase he will alway be in the middle of the map, use this to melee him while he attempts to summon as he wont attack you while summoning.
- after you defeat the baphomet if you are really in a bad place i would reccomend just running to the exit, as 2 minotaurs will spawn in the Baphomet boss room.

There is a way to "glitch" the Baren Hex fight. This trick is very easy to do but can be long if you do not have any damage items. To start, you will need 2 things
-Pickaxe (or anything to break a wall)
-Permanent Levitation (like a levitation ring)
What you will need to do is to wear your levitation and then spawn the Baren Hex. As fast as possible, break one lower wall (except the ones on which the bridge was) and go outside. Baron Hex will be stuck between the near wall and the hole. You will be able to attack him but he will not be able. The only thing you need to be careful of is his minion spawning. He can spawn minions on the tile you were attacking him. Also he will teleport after receiving few hits, he will aggro back to you and stuck at the same place. Melee attacks is preferable to use since if you use range attacks, he can teleport outside of the combat arena and making the fight more difficult.
Note : At 50% of Baren Hex fight, all lights will be turned off. I recommand highly a source of light to see where he is.
I mean, yeah, have a few amulets/cloaks of reflection, but without the ring of invisibility you've got too much to dodge unless you're killing the adds--which adds another layer of complexity on an already difficult fight. Plus I'm not sure he ever stops add-ing, so all those spells cast or staves used are pretty much wasted.
Confuse is very underrated. Use it on 2 higher level monsters and they will clear the room themselves, even if full of demons. Applies to bosses as well; Confused imps will attack Herx and Bahomet.
Other than that, preparedness is the key to a boss fight. Magic reflection, invisibility potions, repaired gear, magic/health potions and all that jazz are what makes the boss fight possible, so before going down the stairs you found immediately outside the spawn room, you may want to look around first.
