Disabling Hunger and Enabling HP regen possible?
I want to disable hunger system so i can focus on taking my time since i have to eat constantly but i want to keep my HP regen intact. I understand the point of the hunger system but im just not fan of time limits when I'm ultra slow. I don't care about the achievements and just wanna have this full health regen while not worrying about food in solo play.

It's not locally supported, but it could be possible through modding. I'm afraid that this change might have a serious impact on pacing and balance though. After all, we wouldn't want people to get the idea that the primary way to victory is to peace out in a locked closet for half an hour every time they take heavy damage.

Using food with hunger off will instantly recover a portion of health, in case you didn't know. Potions and magic will help sustain you too. Have you had the chance to try them?
I have, but ran into single fire mage that blew off 80% or more of my HP and most foods only give back 3-5 HP or so. Wouldn't be so bad if I found a healing spell maybe, but yea that's just nature of these kind of games.
Yikes, I didn't realize the healing from food was that low. Maybe it could be a good idea to implement a minimum health regen threshold in that case, say below 20-25% max health.
Eventually if you're lucky, you can find a healing/ extra healing spellbook (or start as healer). Then suddenly you move into a post-scarcity world!
But to a similar point, I do wish at least Troll's blood or RoRegen worked. But really probably for the best?
if you have the DLC it could be a good idea to play skeleton(preferably with cheat engine open so you can set the game to 500x speed), as skeleton doesnt need food but still has regen if hunger is enabled(but not if its disabled, making it objectively the worst race if hunger is turned off because the only relevant upside it has is removed)
Nah, I thought about skeleton run but think they hostile to shopkeepers so said no lol.

If you don't mind playing a set class you can always play as a merchant who starts with a monocle that makes you allies with all shopkeepers. Plus each monster race does start with 3 potions of polymorph by default allowing you to trade at least 3 times before needing to find, buy or brew more of them. Which in most cases should be enough throughout a run since unless you are a merchant items are very pricey. Since you can only train trading though well trading said high priced items. Without trading 100 you can't even sell every items unless your lucky enough to find a general store which I personally don't find many of.

I do get the whole time and health issue though. I actually felt the very same way when I first started. My first few runs were from playing Skeleton conjurer. Using my summons to tank/fight while spending a TON of time to regen/train swimming, blocking, exc. Sometimes alt tabbing just to heal back up because I was new and didn't have the knowledge I do now.

If time is really giving you a big hit. A few things that can help is you only need to eat once your starving. You only get a minor debuff at the food level before starving. You get 15 minutes of food time by default when you spawn other than goatman I believe who starts off hungry. Then you can even grab rotten food and eat it only when your starving. Since if you vomit from it, no food lost. If you don't then extra food. Of course only eat them one at a time to ensure the second one doesn't then make you vomit up your first meal.

Only other option would be finding a mod or way to alter the game files. So hope something there helped you out!
Seems like I found solution by playing monk lol.
yeah my solution to this issue was using Monk and after a couple runs I felt fast enough to endure runs without that slow digestion ring. And it's actually way more common than it seems, I usually find that ring naturally in 2 out of 3 runs, and keep it around if I slow down the pace to brew potions or things of that sort
