Classes Locked

Why are there locks on the races and classes? It kind of doesn't make sense why you can't be a Succubuss and a Punisher if you want?

Because a lot of these classes are balanced to have the considerable disadvantage of some of the races they were designed for, I guess. Like a goblin shaman is good but a human shaman is ballin. But yeah as for the succubus with the punisher I see no special advantage, it's just that they want you to play the class as intended first.

If you win the game while playing a monster race you will unlock the class for the other monster races (what class you are dosent matter, only that you were the race)

The classes seem to be built around the limitations/mechanics of the race they are paired with, and are the best way to learn both the class and the race at the same time. I also appreciate the added objectives of having to do the class/race combo in order to unlock it with another race, and of course, playing the class as a human is always an option.

I'd imagine this is only a problem if you have trouble beating the game, in which case, skill issue (Do classic mode for shorter runs and easier unlocks, only the achievements require escaping from the citadel.)
