Blank Scrolls & Water

I have an idea for getting use out of these- allow them to be held. While in hand, the next spell you cast takes twice as long and costs twice as much mana but transcribes/transfuses itself into the empty recepticle. Upon completion the scroll/potion is automatically unequipped back into your inventory and is ready to be used like normal.

good idea, id like it if water would come in 3 varieties like in nethack where there are normal water, holy water (can make an item blessed) and unholy water (can curse an item)

maybe even have the ability to copy currently carried scrolls on blank paper this could be very useful and would encourage players to find new uses for these items

Exactly my thinking; most everything has a use, you just have to approach some items from a different point of view. I still haven't found good use for scrolls of fire or pieces of mail though!

if you feel like being "grossly incadescent" read a scroll of fire run into a group of enemies and some might catch fire, usually only useful in the swamp where theres lots a water but i figure if you like risk an reward theres a use for it :)

and mail usually has some message on it, same as the normal books not really useful from a gameplay standpoint but is interesting if you follow lore or the jokes
