Baron items unreachable

Hello all, for some reason when I kill the baron his items clip through the floor. I am using 2 mods, to change the cursor and aim reticle and the daggerfall music and sounds one. Any thoughts?

The only item he drops is the purple orb. If you get that, you're good.

I read that he drops a cloak that gives you levitation, and when I kill him I see so many items spawning and then clipping through the flor leaving only the gold and the orb.

Sounds like you’re getting Baron Herx confused with an enemy encountered later on called Bram Kindly. Herx only ever drops money and the orb. Kindly drops the Wraith’s Gown, which is a cloak that gives you levitation and doubled mana regeneration rate.

Yeah, later that day I killed Bram and he droped the cape. But still, whenever I kill the baron I see so much loot falling from him clipping through floor, remaining only the gold and orb. Once I managed to get a potion or two from the falling items by pressinf the use button fast.

You must have a mod installed that gives him droppable loot. In the vanilla game all he ever drops is money and the purple orb.

As I said in the beggining I have 2 mods: one that just change the cursor and the reticle and Baronfall. I think that none of those makes any change on any kind of loot.

There must be something you have that does. In 400 hours of play, I’ve never seen Herx drop anything besides money and the orb.

Alternatively, did he have any adds when you killed him? They die when he does and unlike him they can drop normal loot. It’s possible he had some imps flying around and the stuff you saw fall came from them.

That is a possibility, that the loot instead droping in their positions go to the Baron. But why would they clip tho?
