Moving save files from epic to steam
Hi! Most of my friends play on steam so I figured I'd get a copy on steam instead of keep playing on epic. So is there a way to transfer my save files? Or is that impossible? Thank you in advance!

Easy to do - copy /savegames/ folder from the Epic store installation to the Steam install location.

Locations for Windows:
X:\Program Files\Epic Games\Barony\savegames ->
X:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Barony\savegames

Edit: Highscores files "scores.dat" and "scores_multiplayer.dat" are in the \Barony\ base folder, and tutorial completion times are in \Barony\data\tutorial_scores.json to copy over.

does this also account for taking record which dlc race with their class you have completed the game with?

actualy does it register dlc at all? or would i have to purchase it in steam again

No, that is achievement related, no way to port progress currently.

DLC is required to be separately purchased between storefronts.
Going from the GOG version to the Steam version on the same machine (Steam Deck), it appears to have read my config with controls and video settings like FoV as well as my save files automatically. Very cool.
