There is about 20-30 levels, give or take, 3 bosses, 9 playable races, and about 15-20 playable classes, so there's plenty to experiment with.
Game is fairly easy to run, I doubt your laptop will have trouble.
Playing online is easy with friends, but there's no matchmaking system. If you want to play with randos you'll have to ask for partners in the discord. IMO the game is most balanced solo, playing with others seems a bit too easy, but having to care for multiple heroes does introduce unique challenges.
The gameplay loop is more akin to a game like Nethack, ToME, or Dredmor. You will be going through the same areas each playthrough, but you won't be crazy overpowered like in Hades and effortlessly breeze through them.
How much geared up and levelled up you can become till you finish your game, is there a lot of gear to have fun around with builds ? Does level up give you more stats or different abilities or they are based on the class themself and are unlocked from the start ?
I guess the question should be if you can have a lot of room to experiments with a lot of builds for each class generally ?
Levels can be challenging without many bosses ?
Also you refered to unique challenge for different heroes when put together, is it because some races or heroes act differently towards other races or classes ?
There's a decent variety of builds, and playing as all the different classes will do a good job exposing you to multiple playstyles. Leveling up purely raises your stats, yes, but maximizing your potential in any particular field unlocks a skill-specific bonus for the rest of you run.
Although each class has optimal equipment, access to them is never guaranteed. You will often find yourself needing to improvise and adapt your playstyle, especially during the early game.
I forgot to mention, minibosses exist in the dungeon and can be found somewhat rarely, but you will most often find lots of normal enemies, and they will often challenge you plenty enough.
Yes, different races will have different interactions with objects, NPCS, and the environment. However, I was more referring to the problems that come with a larger party (keeping everyone fed, sharing the loot, etc.) This helps balance out having multiple heroes, but I still kinda think coop is OP atm.
