How do you get leadership (and other skills) up to level 100?
It just seems that there isn't enough time in the game to get some skills (bargaining, leadership, and others that I can't think of right now) to level 100. Am I missing something or is it just very unlikely to get a skill to level 100 in a run?

For trading, I buy and sell Cheese over and over. For appraise, just appraise EVERYTHING!

If you're a caster your magic and casting skills will get maxed out on their own. Also your main weapon skill will likely max itself.

Stealth actually usually gets pretty high for me without trying, though backstabs make it quicker.

I have never gotten leadership very high, but I find NPC allies are not that useful in the long run.

Swimming just requires bothering to swim, but it mostly is only useful in the forest levels.

Lockpick requires actually trying to max it, and I only did it once when going for the achievement to disarm the robot guys. Using bear traps though is good way to raise it at low levels.

Varies on the skill;

Appraisal is guranteed to get to 100 if you appraise everything slowly and surely.

Swimming is always guranteed to get to 100, given you have the food, just get it in swamp.

Trading usually gets to 100, if you have the proper amount of gold, and the items to sell/rebuy to get it up (sell and rebuy the same item alot - it's a good way to grind XP for it)

You also usually can get magic/casting up to 100 in any run, given you don't get completely screwed over run-long by RNG, usually Gnomish mines will gurantee this, or any spell-casting class.

Stealth is also usually maxxable, in any run, although it's on-off for me, since I don't uber-minmax. - Easy to get if you do alot of hit-andrun patience backstabbing.

Shield is also another maxxable skill, and is guranteed to be if you were to steal every torch, and shield, cursed or not, and use it until it breaks.

Skills I never really get maxxed are leader and locks, mostly because I lack the competence (not the patience, though), to max leader, and in the case of locks, while I get non-sense luck, I usually don't get hundreds of lockpicks, and like I'm going to waste ascroll of repair on lockpicks.

[HARD CORE ONLY]

Most weapon skills can be maximized in Crystal Caverns or Hell, since most enemies are tanky enough to take alot of hits, if you got a legendary weapon, you are almost guranteed to get legend in a weapon skill. No doubt about it. Worth it? If you have levitaiton? Yes. If you don't? Don't bother, you'll die.

Edit;
Ninja'd!

Edit 2;
Unfortunately I may not be able to do my forum responses over the next few weeks, possibly even the next few months, or if I do, it's even more infrequent - I haven't fallen away, as much as I have been very busy.

In the next few weeks, I'll be working towards my degrees most hopefully, and also maximuzing my time to work on my passions aswell, please add me via steam with a comment saying "From Barony Forums", if you want to still receive assistance with Barony. I can't accept everyone, though. If you must, you can post what you need help with in your comment, that may change the chances I respond.

Sincerely, Lyiu, but I hope to be back soon!

Leadership isn't too difficult. As a spellcaster, you get dominate for having Magic 100, so in the end game areas you can usually wrangle some extremely tanky enemies to your side and use them to fight for you. Before you get to the end game though, you want to recruit most of the things you find, especially if they are humans. If you have the basic leadership skills, you can command them to eat food and later command them to rest which gives you a point in leadership basically every time you do it.

Uh, I guess this is definitely a necro, but someone looking for the information might want it?
