Report a translation problem
There is no "default.cfg" in the game folder. My drivers are up to date.

Would you please try deleting your local content and reinstalling the game? Also can you please confirm what OS you're running on - in case a reinstall doesn't solve it this might help us track down the issue.
I am running Windows 7 Home Premium
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 (Driver Version: 376.09, released November 28, 2016)
CPU: Intel i7-4930K
I also tried with the previous driver version. Same result.
If you need any more details let me know.

For science reasons I attempted to run "barony.exe" and it gave me the error:
"The program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."
I have also checked windows update to make sure I wasn't missing any important updates.
