Coop desync
Apologies if this has been answered before but when playing with 3 other players, after saving and resuming there seems to be a desync between what I see and what the others see.

  • To me they are running into wall
  • They say they cant move forwards and are not where I see them
Is this a bug ? It has happened for the last 3 games

Thanks for any info

He eQ. Sorry you're experiencing this issue, it sucks.
This issue is covered in our FAQ, which links to this thread discussing the topic:

TL;DR
We've managed to locate the bug that was causing this issue, introduced in the 2.0.5 update. Unfortunately we won't be able to issue a fix until August due to some external commitments.

The immediate workarounds are:
- Quitting at the transition levels if possible
- Have the host using the /nextlevel command to advance the map to re-sync

Some other exotic ways:
- Have everyone carry teleportation rings and pray you port to the exit
- Amass a bunch of pickaxes to break all the walls to reach the exit
- Changing the levels.txt file to load a transition level at the current depth before loading up
- Turn friendly fire off and have the host "accidentally" kill all the client players and let the host reach the exit
Ugly, I know. We hate this bug. Hoping to introduce a fix ASAP.

Thanks dude - we can use the /nextlevel command going forwards until the fix is in place

Hi,

Just wondering if this has been fixed yet. For now our group has stopped playing the game but once the fix is in place we will pick it up again.

thanks

Bug is fixed! We pushed out a fix earlier in the month for version 2.0.6 (we're on 2.0.7 now)
