Far Cry Primal won’t activate (2024) [SOLVED]

I just purchased the FC bundle. After many hours debugging, I finally got FC3 running (8 core max and set exe to run as admin). I’m trying to get FC Primal working now. At first, it would crash with no error after a brief moment on the splash screen. I set the exe file to admin and now I get the splash screen and then the Ubisoft Connect Activation Screen. Since Ubisoft no longer uses Activation codes, I can’t launch the game. It has never shown up in my Ubisoft Connect library.

Running this on a brand new max spec Aurora 16 (Intel/Nvidia). Windows, GeForce and similar drivers are up to date.

Found the answer. Somewhere along the way, steam via shortcut was no longer set to run as admin.

FC3 was solved above. FC Primal requires Steam, Ubisoft Connect, and the game (.exe) file to be run as admin.

A Ubisoft esta me cobrando o código de ativação do meu jogo "Far Cry Primal", que comprei em 2018 . Mas como já faz muitos anos que comprei, e mudei meu e-mail neste período, preciso do código de ativação para poder utiliza-lo novamente. Aconteceu também com o meu jogo "Assassin´s creed IV" que consegui o código de ativação mas a Ubisoft alega que o código já esta registrado para outro e-mail (meu mesmo mas antigo que nem sei mais qual era) de minha conta e o "2070" também. Poderiam me ajudar a resolver este problema com a Ubisoft?

Sorry to hear you experience issues with games activated on your account.

Ubisoft games purchased on Steam do not require an activation key.
A digital license is pushed to your Ubisoft account when you launch the game in Steam for the first time, and link it to the Ubisoft account.

Once activated this way, the game cannot be activated on another Ubisoft account.

If you are asked for an activation key or get a ownership authentication error, it usually means the Ubisoft account that is currently linked to your Steam account does not have the game you're trying to launch activated on it. You must have linked it to a different Ubisoft account at some point. You will need to re-link the original account where the game was activated in the first place.
